Osama Bin Laden, age 49, seems prima facie to be a likely suspect, by virtue of his virulent anti-American rhetoric. Including an admix of injudicious quotations from the Qur՚ān. The Qur՚ān q.e.,’reading’ or ‘recitation’, is the sacred book of Islam consisting of 114 sūras (q.e., chapters) which are regarded as the ‘Word of Allāh’ as revealed to their ‘prophet’ Muhammad. And his supposed formation of Al-qā‛idah (q.e., ‘The Base’ or ‘Foundation’), founded between mid 1988 and early 1990 (sq). The Al-qā‛idah conducts terrorist training programmes in Algeria, Eritrea, the Philippines et al.; for Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamā‘ah extremists organizations. Apparently, Al-qā‛idah is determined to forcefully re-establish a global pan-Islamic Khilāfä following its fall in 1924 at Constantinople; under Mustafā Kemāl Atatürk’s Republican regime.
On 9 November 2001, Osama bin Laden, was 11,039km (q.l.) away in Qandahār south-east of Afghãnistãn; 110km from the Pakistan border. On 11 October 2001, Alexandra Richard, a journalist for ‘Le Figaro’, reported bin Laden having flew four months prior to the attack on New York. He flew from Pakistan’s Quetta airport to the Dubai United Arab Emirates where he was admitted into the American Hospital Dubai on 4 July, to receive specialist treatment; and was discharged on the 14 July. Bin Laden had serious health issues dating back to March 2000. A report from Hong Kong suggested that his life was at risk because of “… a kidney infection that is propagating itself to the liver, and requires specialised treatment.”And that he “had mobile dialysis equipment shipped to his hideout in Kandahar in the first part of 2000” (‘Asia Week’, March 2000). These reports would suggest a certain degree of limitations due to his health status., and furthermore he denied responsibility for the attack in a broadcast on Qatar’s Al Jazeera on 16 September 2001.
Al-qā‛idah’s principal objectives are to overturn non-Islamic régimes including Islamic régimes whom they disapprove. For example, the Shites – the “party” or “followers” of “Ali” whom they regard as the first authentic Khilāfä. Al-qā‛idah seeks to establish governments to follow the rule of the Khilāfä, e.g., Hanafi, Shafi’t, Maliki, or Hanbali orthodox systems of law. And to ‘kill United States citizens, civilian or military personnel; and their allies globally’. (vid., ‘World Islamic Front for Jihād Against the Jews régimes and Crusaders’, February 1998).
Al-qā‛idah terrorist network (et al.), who identify terrorists activities with the Islamic ‘Jihād’ q.e.’striving’ or ‘holy war’, against infidels, was introduced after the death of Muhammad (632AD). Jews and Christians may refuse an invitation to accept Islam. The authentic Jihād is an internal struggle – of the individual – against sin. are, in my opinion; sorely mistaken. The Jihād is quintessentially an impulse towards subduing destructive instincts. It does not include indiscriminate hostilities against innocents, viz., non-combatants, women, and children. The terrorist attacks on Oklahoma City and New York, were iniquitous, and quite apart from the great majority of peace-loving Moslems worldwide.
“Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not aggressors”.
The Qur՚ān, Sūrah ii:cxc.
Western Anti-Islamic Idées Reçues.
There appear to be a very conspicuous anti-Islamic idées reçues, that permeates throughout the West. Generally with an attitude that fail to differentiate between the mainstream peacekeeping Islamic communities from a minority of what could be considered anti-Islamic despotic militants. I believe the West, particularly the United States, is very insular that is compounded by the United States blanket ban on news agencies, television, and radio networks. Silencing the press is in contravention of Article One of the United States Constitution. Journalists have restricted in their news gathering and reporting since 2001 by George W. Bush. Bush is a fervent born-again Christian Protestant fundamentalist, determined to stage his “holy war” or “crusade” against the Arab nations. It is a contradiction in terms to counterpoise politically driven ‘terrorists’, who commit crimes erroneously in the name of the Islamic Jihād, with devout Islamists, who strive to live by the tenets, of their prophet Muhammad The founder of Islam, was born in Mecca (570AD (q.v.)) and died in Medina (632). and the Qur՚ān. The Qur՚ān is the sacred book of Islam consisting of 114 sūras q.e., chapters, which are regarded as the ‘Word of Allāh’ as revealed to their prophet Muhammad. The controversial phrase: “Islamic terrorism” is a western concept that evokes images of suicide bombings, assassinations, airline hijackings, and kidnappings int. al.Terrorism is an antithesis to Islam, as it would be to Christians. Stigmatising Islam with the “terrorism” label isn’t a pragmatic exercise if Judaism, Christianity, and Islam ever hope to share a future together in peace, harmony, and mutual respect.
